Custom AI development Perth · Perth & Western Australia
Atlas AI develops focused tools, assistants, integrations, and workflow services for Australian SMBs. We begin with a scoped proof of concept, so you can test the shape of a real solution before taking on a larger technical project.

What gets built
01
Small, purposeful software for the work that falls between your existing systems and the way your team actually operates.
02
Assistants grounded in your own business context, with access and review boundaries that match the job they are meant to support.
03
Practical integrations that move information between the tools you already rely on, with a clear place for people to check the result.
04
A useful service around a repeatable process: preparing information, routing work, or producing a first pass for a person to decide.
Start with a proof of concept
The expensive part of custom development is often committing to the wrong shape of solution. A focused first build gives your team something concrete to question: does the data hold up, does the workflow make sense, and does the result improve the decision enough to justify more?
01
Choose one real business decision or piece of work the build should improve.
02
Look at the data, permissions, systems, users, and failure cases around it.
03
Make enough of the experience real for you to test whether the idea earns a larger build.
04
Continue, change direction, hand it to your team, or stop while the cost of learning is still contained.
An honest qualification
There is a clear problem, real information to work with, and a decision or workflow the result should improve. You are open to learning from a contained first step.
Requirements are still undefined, the underlying data cannot be trusted, the decision is safety-critical or regulated, or an existing product would solve it more sensibly.
Atlas AI is Perth-based and works with Australian SMBs. Led by Hayden Bruinsma, with more than 10 years across technology and business, the work is sized carefully around what can be understood, built, and handed over responsibly.
Built for handover
Custom work should leave you with understanding, not dependence. We make the important boundaries visible: what the system does, what it does not do, how information moves, and where a person remains accountable.
That means documentation and access are part of the conversation from the start. Your own developers can take the next step, or Atlas AI can help define a separate continuation if the evidence supports one.
Build questions
You do. The agreed source code, project artefacts, and documentation are handed over as part of the engagement. We clarify access, accounts, data, and any third-party terms before work starts so ownership is not left vague.
The stack follows the problem, your existing systems, and the people who will maintain the result. We choose practical, well-understood components and document the important decisions rather than forcing every project through one preferred stack.
You receive a working artefact, a record of what was learned, and a recommendation for the next decision. If the work merits a larger build, we can define that separately. If you or your developers take it forward, the handover is structured so they can inspect and extend it.
We estimate after understanding the outcome, users, data, integrations, review points, and operational constraints. A scoped first engagement makes those unknowns visible before either side commits to a larger build.
That can be a strong fit. Atlas AI can help your team explore the AI-specific part of a problem, create a focused proof of concept, or add an outside perspective to an existing technical project. The handover can be designed around your developers from the beginning.
Buy when an existing product already handles the job well, the process is common, or maintaining a custom system would add more burden than value. Build when your context, permissions, workflow, or integration needs are genuinely distinctive. We will include that comparison in the early conversation.
Make the next decision concrete
Take the free assessment or explain the build you have in mind. We can work out whether a proof of concept is the right next move.
