Who it is for

Everyday people, everyday work.

If you already use a chatbot, or are about to start, and want to get more out of it, these AI workshops are for you. You do not need to be technical.

Small-business owners

You use a chatbot now and then and want it to save real time on quotes, emails and admin.

Office workers

You want dependable, checked answers without needing to learn anything technical.

Tradies

You want quick help with customer messages, job notes and paperwork, from your phone.

Retirees and curious beginners

You have heard a lot about AI and want a calm, practical place to start.

The six workshops

One idea, one page, every week.

Each workshop teaches one reusable practice and leaves you with one page you keep. Together, the pages become your playbook.

  1. 01

Brief It Like a New Starter

A chatbot knows the world, not you. Give it the job, the context and what good looks like.

You leave with: My Context Card

  2. 02

    Save What Works

Typed the same setup twice? Turn it into a tested, reusable recipe.

You leave with: My Assistant Recipe

  3. 03

    Bring Your Own Material

Your own documents beat its guesses, once you decide what goes in and clean it first.

You leave with: My Reference Pack

  4. 04

    Trust, but Check

Fluent is not the same as correct. Check in proportion to the stakes.

You leave with: My Check-It List

  5. 05

    Think It Through

Ask it to question you, argue with you and rehearse with you, and keep the decision yours.

You leave with: My Thinking-Partner Card

  6. 06

    Your Personal AI Playbook

Habits beat hacks. One short playbook, proven in a second chatbot and kept fresh.

What you leave with

Habits beat hacks.

Apps change their names and menus often. Practices do not. By the final workshop you have a short Personal AI Playbook, tested in a second chatbot, with the master copy kept by you rather than inside any one app.

  • Context Card: a short paragraph about you and how you like answers, ready to paste into any chat.
  • Assistant Recipes: tested, dated instructions for the jobs you repeat every week.
  • Reference Pack: your go-to documents, what to strip before sharing, and your training setting.
  • Check-It List: how much to check, matched to the stakes, and who to ask for the serious stuff.
  • Thinking-Partner Card: four starter prompts for questioning, arguing, rehearsing and learning.
  • Red lines and routines: what you never paste, a 30-day plan, and a ten-minute weekly review.

Format

Learn by doing.

  • In person

Six workshops of about an hour each, run in a room with your own device and the chatbot you already use.

  • Hands-on

About half of each hour is timed try-it exercises on real tasks, with a short recap and share-back at the end.

  • Any chatbot

You pair with a tool buddy on a different chatbot, so every practice is proven in more than one app.

  • Materials

Slides for each workshop, a printable workbook with one worksheet per module and the Playbook template, and fictional handouts for the exercises.

Safety and privacy run through every session: what never to paste, how to clean a document before sharing it, and how to tell when a confident answer is wrong.

AI for business teams

Training a whole team?

This course is the beginner foundation. If you need training shaped around your organisation, its roles and its approved tools, see our AI Team Training service.

Either way, the starting point is a conversation about who will be in the room and what they need AI to help with.

Good questions

Before you sign up.

Do I need any technical background?+

No. The course is written for people who are not developers: small-business owners, office workers, tradies and retirees who already use a chatbot, or are just starting to. Every idea is explained in plain English, one step at a time.

Which chatbot do I need?+

Whichever one you already use, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Microsoft Copilot. The course teaches practices rather than tool tricks, and every exercise can be done by typing or pasting into a new chat, so a free plan or a missing feature does not hold you back.

What will I actually leave with?+

One page from each workshop that you keep and reuse: a Context Card, an Assistant Recipe, a Reference Pack, a Check-It List and a Thinking-Partner Card. In the final workshop they come together as your Personal AI Playbook.

How is privacy and safety handled?+

It is built into every workshop rather than added at the end. You learn what never to paste into a chatbot, how to clean a document before you share it, how to check your training setting, and why fluent answers still need checking. The privacy exercises use fictional handouts, and anything real you bring is cleaned first, so no real customer data is needed in the room.

How is the course run?+

As six in-person workshops of about an hour each, with time between sessions to use what you made on real work. You work alongside a "tool buddy" on a different chatbot, so you see how the same practice holds up in more than one app.

Has the course been run before?+

It is a new course. The workshops, workbook and handouts are written, and we are now booking the first groups. Book a call to register your interest or to talk about running it for your team.

How is this different from AI Team Training?+

This course is a shared foundation for individuals and beginners. AI Team Training is shaped around a specific organisation, its roles and its approved tools. A team can start with the foundation and tailor from there.
